Suzaku

Yuuki Miaka, a fifteen year old junior college girl who was drawn into the world of the Shijin Tenchi Shou. The story begins when Miaka and Yui visit the Japanese National Library and stumble upon a forsaken room where they found a mysterious looking book entitled "The Universe of the Four Gods". As they started to read the book, they were suddenly transported physically into the book and its universe! In the story book, Miaka and Yui find themselves in a beautiful world resembling ancient China, with evil bandits on every corner and a mysterious hero who rescues them. Thus begins their adventures and struggles in "The Universe of the Four Gods" as they discover the mystery of the book and learning the power of friendship and love along the way.

Seiryu

Join Miaka again as she struggles to overcome and learn to accept Yui's betrayal. Would their friendship stand against the test of hardship? Watch how Miaka overcome the deadly obstacles of the Seiryu Seven to protect her adopted kingdom, her friends and her true love.

Oni

At the end of FUSHIGI YUGI: THE MYSTERIOUS PLAY, Miaka made her final wish, which completed the mystical book of the Universe of the Four Gods, or so everyone thought. This OVA series (FUSHIGI YUGI - THE MYSTERIOUS PLAY SPECIAL) picks up where that series ends, and old enemies are coming back to exact their revenge. This time, Tamahome is sucked into the book, perhaps to become one of the Seiryu Seven. Later, Miaka and Tamahome sort out the troubles that Tamahome's memory loss has caused their relationship. Unfortunately, before they get a chance to resolve anything, Shigyou, a new student, throws their lives into turmoil. Shigyou, who displays an unsettling knowledge of "The Universe of the Four Gods" manages to trap both Tamahome and Miaka there. leaving them to deal with more serious problems than their relationship woes. Contains all nine episodes.

Eikouden

After years of waiting, Fushigi Yuugi returns to animation with an all new third OAV series based on Yuu Watase's "Gaiden" (side story) Fushigi Yuugi novels. Miaka and Taka Sukunami (the reincarnation of Tamahome) get married, but new friends, rivals and adventure still awaits them.
